AI consultancy

Know precisely where artificial intelligence earns its place in your business, and where the honest answer is not yet.

Advice from people who build, not just advise

Nexplexity provides independent AI consultancy for organisations deciding what to build, what to buy and what to leave alone. You get a ranked, costed assessment of every opportunity, and a recommendation we are willing to defend with numbers.

The costly mistake is confidence, not caution

The expensive mistake in artificial intelligence is rarely moving too slowly. It is committing budget and reputation to the wrong initiative, confidently, because the person recommending it had nothing at stake. Independent assessment exists to remove that asymmetry.

Estimates that have been paid for before

We build AI systems as our main work, which means our estimates come from delivery rather than from a pricing sheet. When we say an integration will take three months and cost what it costs, that figure has been paid for before. When the right answer is to wait, we say so and explain what would need to change.

What an engagement covers

Independent judgement before the spending starts.

Opportunity assessment

We examine how work moves through your organisation, cost it, and rank the AI opportunities by return against effort. The ranking is the deliverable, not a list of possibilities.

Build, buy or wait

For each opportunity, a defensible recommendation with real numbers attached: what it costs to build, what it costs to buy, and what it costs to do nothing for another year.

Technical due diligence

Model selection, vendor claims, data readiness and integration risk, assessed by people who ship this technology rather than resell it.

Governance that survives contact

Usage policies, review gates and audit trails your team will actually follow, sized to your risk rather than copied from a template.

AI consultancy questions, answered directly

How is this different from a strategy deck?

A deck describes possibilities. We deliver a ranked list of specific opportunities with costs, expected returns, dependencies and a recommended sequence, plus the ones we advise against and why. Everything is scoped so it could be started the week after we finish.

Do you recommend your own build services?

Sometimes, and we say so explicitly when we do. Many recommendations point to existing software, a change of process, or nothing at all. If an assessment only ever concluded that you should hire the assessor, it would not be worth commissioning.

How long does an assessment take?

Typically two to four weeks depending on the number of processes in scope and how accessible your data is. You get interim findings as they emerge rather than waiting for a presentation at the end.

What do you need from our team?

Time with the people who do the work, access to representative data, and visibility of current costs. We keep the demand light and structured, usually a handful of interviews plus a read-only look at the systems involved.

Can you work alongside our existing technology partners?

Yes, and it is common. We frequently act as the independent technical voice on the client side, reviewing proposals, testing claims and holding delivery to the standard that was agreed.
